SWEX is one of the most experienced water broking firms in the Murray Darling basin as we began helping clients with their water trading decisions as far back as 1991.

The original driving force behind the company was John Grahame and Marty Deacon who were considered pioneers of the water broking industry. Many years ago they established annual “water auctions” held in places such as Mildura, Finley, Loxton and Deniliquin which attracted great interest from the irrigation community. These auctions were used as the lead indicator of water pricing for that season.

The business is now managed by Phillip Grahame who has taken over after a career in property and valuation. Phil’s commercial background has allowed the business to go to a new level of service and professionalism.

SWEX pride itself on the long standing relationships it has with key stakeholders in the water markets such as Governments, large corporations and local irrigators. Honesty and integrity (without the need for high pressure sales tactics) has been the reason for such relationships.

Unlike many competitors water is our sole business focus. Therefore we have the knowledge and insights to give you the advantage in your water decisions. SWEX are members of the Australian Water Brokers Association and operate under their code of conduct which gives you further protection and reassurance not offered by many competitors.
